My name is Dallas Lander and I am an audio engineer from Melbourne (Naarm.) I am a multi-instrumentalist with guitar, drums and bass guitar being my most commonly utilised instruments. I enjoy working with a variety of music genres with indie-rock/pop being my favourite.
I have been playing music for fifteen years and prior to beginning my career in audio, I had been writing and recording songs as a hobby-project for about four years. After realising my potential with this hobby, I decided to take the first step in making a career in audio.
Recording and mixing audio as well as playing music is my life’s passion. Being able to effectively capture the sonic qualities that make up a song, while expressing my own personal flair, make this process much more enjoyable. Using a variety of recording techniques, microphones and painstakingly debating what mixing processes to apply to a blank session of audio is often where my creativity shines the most.
